The climate is rapidly going into crisis mode and the world is having trouble reducing emissions due to a long list of causes.
For the short to medium term I do have a solution to mitigate CO2 emissions that can get to global scale with added benefits that could make the plan even more viable.
The key is probably in close proximity from where You are right now: the soil that a plant is standing in. Most people know that plants grow best in darkbrown or black soil that smells like earth and contains dead plant materials and some moisture. The name of this very fertile soil is humus and can contain up to 60 percent carbon and is know for its water holding capacity, abundant micro biological life and loose structure.
How do we go from CO2 to humus? Growing seaweeds on the high seas, harvesting, composting and finally depositing the finished product on a suitable site.

A climate solution that can scale to the needed amount for global cooling. Farm seaweeds primarily in the high seas. Harvest, process and compost these seaweeds and use them as fertilizer and top soil humus building material.
Or a similar statement or quote on a seaweed color background
